    This is your secure portal to all the tools you need to do business. It is Internet accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is your “home base” for attending to all your H.D. Vest-related business activities.

    HDVLink provides access to all the tools you need to create efficiencies that will make it easy for you to grow your practice. The home page lists items that need your attention, including alerts and news from the home office, Educational Partners and the industry at large. The tools you use every day are easily accessed through a “favorites” section, where you have the ability to bookmark the tools you use most often. Use the search engine or Knowledge Retrieval Information System (KRIS) to easily find answers to your most frequently asked questions.
  • Technology Navigator

    This HDVLink tool provides clear visual directions and helpful tool tips so you know which application you need to get the job done. Select your Goal, Service and Product to filter the list of applications. Advisor Center has a myriad of tools and reports to track your sales and commissions. It provides access to e-mail and houses a discussion forum for networking with other H.D. Vest Advisors. You can access a broad array of sales and marketing tools, including our Client Marketing System and pre-approved marketing materials from our educational sponsors. Communication tools include e-mail, Customer Service Logs and discussion forums. You can also access our financial planning tools from this centralized portal.

    The H.D. Vest Paperless Office is the next generation of technology, taking business efficiency to a whole new level.

    Our ongoing technology enhancements continue the drive toward a paperless office. What does this mean to you? It means that no software packages or additional networking is required. You don’t have to hire an IT specialist to load software or manage the system. It’s Internet access from anywhere, any time. It’s an instant network connecting you and your staff. It’s a worry-free business continuation solution for secure document storage.

    Scan your paperwork via Remote Capture and submit it electronically to the H.D. Vest back office for processing. No need to fax or mail applications! You can use Document Search to access submitted paperwork online and take advantage of real-time updates, plus you can view client documents through every stage of processing and utilize secure storage of all client data. The H.D. Vest Paperless Office work environment focuses on efficiencies to enable you to maximize your workday so you can spend more time with family, friends and community activities!

  • VestPlan Solutions (VPS)

    A web-based financial modeling and planning tool, VPS supports you in developing retirement plans, portfolio allocations and other financial analysis.

    Show your clients how prepared you are when you meet with them face-to-face by using our comprehensive financial planning tool, VPS. This system combines powerful calculation engines with interactive, educational presentations, analyzing data to clearly communicate complex financial concepts and provide individualized recommendations. With the click of a button, client portfolio data is pre-populated, simplifying your ability to develop retirement plans and portfolio allocations and other financial planning efforts.   • Client Center

    This program allows you the unprecedented ability to store all your clients’ personal and financial information in a centralized application.

    By importing your data into Client Center, you are positioned to take advantage of one of the most powerful tools imaginable to make your office more efficient. The Communication Planning component of Client Center is your automated tool for organizing client communications in person, by phone, letter, e-mail or through events. Use Practice Management Tools to create tasks. You can even track the status of prospective business through Client Center Pipeline. Client Center Administration gives you client lists and a dashboard showing you account maintenance reminders in one helpful place.

    Through Client Center, you can also:

    • Get an overview of your top 10 clients and their holdings
    • Open mutual fund and brokerage accounts with the ability to pre-fill client data, eliminating the re-keying of information
    • Upload client portfolio holdings to Morningstar Advisor Workstation to generate professional-quality PDF presentations to share with clients.
  • Report Center

    At H.D. Vest, we know that reports are essential for tracking your business and provide a way to engage clients in portfolio discussions. Through Report Center, we offer tools to meet these needs.

    Some of the reports available include total number of clients, accounts and assets under management; average account size; assets under management by type of asset: money market, stocks, mutual funds and annuities; total assets per account type; and top securities based upon assets. To prepare for a client meeting, just select the client and create a report. It’s that easy!
